Ajoké (pronounced Ah-joe-kay) has been dedicated to creating diverse and female-driven content that is also inclusive behind the scenes. And since 2015, she has produced several short films and digital series, many available to watch on YouTube.
Ajoké has over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She started her career at CBS Television City as a mailroom clerk. Then she was a production assistant on 75+ commercials, music videos, independent films, and TV shows. She was also a DGA Trainee on eight popular TV shows, including PRISON BREAK, DEXTER, and THE MIDDLE. Additionally, Ajoké has worked on the film festival side for esteemed festivals such as the Outfest Film Festival, TCM Classic Film Festival, and Pan African Film Festival.
In her spare time, Ajoké has volunteered with the non-profit organization Axia Project, where she taught high school students short film screenwriting and filmmaking. Ajoké is a proud alumna of The Ohio State University, where she earned her BA in Interactive Communication, and National University, where she earned her MFA in Screenwriting.
